See the ten faces in the tree? Keep your brain strong with these exercises!
Below are some links to resources that can give your brain a healthy work out. But be advised: the latest studies say that without moderate physical exercise, the brain exercise won't be nearly as effective, so couple the physical and the mental, and you should be strong well into your 90s! One excellent way to keep the brain fit: read, read, read! Playing puzzles and even BINGO can also work. Whichever brain exercises you use, the three key principles for good brain exercises are: novelty, variety and constant challenge. Here is a brain teaser to get you started: Figure out what these words have in common. 1. Banana 2. Dresser 3. Grammar 4. Potato 5. Revive 6. Uneven 7. Assess Are you peeking or have you already given up? Give it another try.... Look at each word carefully. You'll kick yourself when you discover the Answer. This is so cool..... No, it is not that they all have at least 2 double letters... When you've given up...................................... Check the answer below. Answer: In all of the words listed, if you take the first letter, place It at the end of the word, and then spell the word backwards, it will be the same word.Additional Resources |
