On July 13th in Chicago, more than 3,000 delegates to the AFT convention voted overwhelmingly to endorse the presidential candidacy of Senator Barack Obama. Following the vote, Obama thanked the delegates via satellite, saying he needed the union’s help to get to the White House. |
