(Nov. 10, 2009) Former CCCTU President Norm Swenson’s work has just become part of history. Twelve movers’ cartons of documents are being transferred to the Walter P. (Sept. 18, 2009) Pres. Perry Buckley updated the members on the CCC and suburban scenes at the House Meeting, while Legis. Chair Bill Naegele denounced so-called “reformers” and Treas. (June 3, 2008) David Richmond, the grievance chair of the Harper College Faculty Chapter, is a young man who has been very helpful to Past President Norm Swenson in winning a strike and to President Perry Buckley in preventing another one. You should know David Richmond; the members of his chapters do. For the full story, click on the hyperlink headline.

Yet we must never forget what we went through - - what personal sacrifice and courage were displayed during those years of turmoil, what wonderful leadership we were blessed with, the perils we were exposed to by a somewhat vicious, always hostile board, and how together we won and then fought to keep and improve what is arguably the finest collective bargaining agreement of its kind in the country....
